Fall Prevention Program Reboot (6 week series)

This comprehensive 6-week series will provide the LTC/AL team with detailed fall management program components to effectively reduce fall risk, occurrences and possible fall-related injuries. Topics will include QAPI systems to drive improved safety, keys to better fall risk assessments, insights into effective Root Cause Analysis, intervention selection that target individual resident risk factors, developing comprehensive fall management care plans, & elevating staff engagement in fall prevention efforts.

Janine Lehman, RN, RAC-CT, CLNC; Director of Clinical and Legal Nurse Consulting 

She is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with experience serving as an Administrator, Director of Nursing, and as a multi-site Corporate Nurse Consultant. She holds AAPACN’s QAPI Certified Professional (QCP) credential, is certified in healthcare compliance through the Healthcare Compliance Association (HCCA) and is an Infection Preventionist. She presents extensively on LTC clinical, regulatory, and compliance matters.

 
Liz Wheeler, BSN, RN, CHPN, IPCO, QCP, CDP; Clinical Consultant



Liz is an experienced leader in skilled nursing and assisted living, as well as long-term care pharmacy consulting. Elizabeth has worked in various areas of care including skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, palliative care, and pharmacy. Her main focuses are regulatory compliance, infection prevention and control, and quality assurance.

Members: $330 per person for all six webinar sessions  (all six sessions are recorded)

Nonmember: $430 per person

The Kentucky Coalition of Aging Resources and Empowerment is an approved provider of continuing education by the Kentucky Board of Nursing, #5-0002. To receive the 6 contact hours, you must complete the entire program. Certificates may be printed once the program evaluation is submitted. CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation received in writing no later than seven (7) workdays prior to a seminar will receive a full refund. Cancellations received in writing inside of seven (7) workdays will receive one-half refund. Any participants who don't attend a program will receive no refund unless prior notice in writing is given to the association office as outlined in this policy. Participants may appeal refund determinations by requesting reconsideration by the Executive Committee. Such appeals must be made in writing within 30 days after the seminar or convention is held.
